●SCM440H用途举例：
用于制造比35CrMo钢要求强度更高或截面尺寸更大的重要零件，如机车牵引用大齿轮、增压器传动齿轮、后轴、变速箱齿轮、发动机气缸、SCM440H受载荷极大的连杆、弹簧夹，以及用于1200-2000mm石油深井的钻杆接头与打捞工具等。

●SCM440H性能特点：
与SCM435H钢的性能相近，由于碳和铬含量增高，因而其强度和淬透性均优于SCM435H钢，SCM440H调质后具有较高的疲劳强度和抗多次冲击能力，低温冲击韧度良好，无明显的回火脆性，SCM440H一般在调质后使用，可代替含镍较高的调质钢。
